What makes us different

IMAAB is built on real competence.
We assess professionals and organizations based on what they do.
Our process is lean, peer-reviewed, and fully transparent.
Because trust isn't claimed — it's earned.

Who we are

The International Management Accreditation and Assessment Board (IMAAB) is an independent, voluntary initiative dedicated to recognizing competence and integrity in the field of management systems.

We are not a national accreditation body.
We do not claim affiliation with IAF (International Accreditation Forum).
And that's by design.

Instead, IMAAB operates as an alternative evaluation board – transparent, professional, and focused on real-world expertise, not on formality or bureaucracy.

Why we exist

The landscape of management system certification is evolving. More and more organizations seek credible, lean, and accessible recognition that reflects their actual competencies and commitment to best practices.

IMAAB fills a gap between:

  • costly, opaque accreditation procedures, and

  • informal, unverifiable recognition.

What we do

We assess and accredit:

  • Certification Bodies (CBs) that demonstrate technical and ethical competence;

  • Auditors and professionals in ISO-related systems;

  • Organizations applying management system principles in a robust and transparent way.

Our process is based on:

  • document-based evaluation,

  • peer-review mechanisms,

  • digital validation of issued certificates.

What makes us different

  • Voluntary – No regulation, no pressure. You choose us.

  • Transparent – Criteria are clear. Reviews are fair.

  • Practical – We focus on performance and real implementation, not just paperwork.

  • Credible – Every certificate is traceable and publicly verifiable.

A note on terminology

We use the term "accreditation" in its literal sense: to recognize, to validate, to confirm competence.
We do not issue authorizations or approvals under government mandate.
We serve a private, voluntary market that values clarity over compliance theatre.
